I am beyond excited to begin my career at Dayton 24/7 Now as the new morning reporter!
I am an Ohio native, growing up in the Cincinnati area where I graduated from Mount Notre Dame high school and cheered for Archbishop Moeller high school (GO BIG MOE!). I am an avid sports fan, having cheered throughout my childhood and high school years and also at the collegiate level while attending Wittenberg University.
I completed my freshman year of collegiate studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, California. I transferred to Wittenberg University my sophomore year, and graduated cum laude in 2017 with a B.A. in theatre and dance.
In 2018 I headed back to school to complete my second degree, graduating magna cum laude in 2019 with a B.A. in Journalism and a digital broadcast news from the University of Cincinnati. During my time at UC I completed internships with WKRC-TV in Cincinnati, WRTV6 in Indianapolis and co-hosted “Backstage Live!” for the Ohio Valley Emmy Awards. In addition, I was also nominated for two Ohio Valley Chapter Regional Student Production Awards in 2019.
While not at work, I love running, yoga, Starbucks refreshers and frequent trips to the T.J. Maxx clearance section. In addition, I love fashion journalism and enjoy writing articles regarding the psychology behind choices in apparel.
I am always looking for story ideas, so please feel free to contact me with any!
