Nick Marusiak

I am proud to be your Miami Valley morning meteorologist! I was previously meteorologist in Fort Wayne for four years, but before that I was a meteorologist in Yuma, Arizona, and Fargo, North Dakota. I graduated from Embry Riddle with a degree in Meteorology and then went to Mississippi State.

I've been fascinated by weather since growing up in New Jersey and watching storm clouds at the pool. I've covered multiple tornadoes, blizzards, and heat waves, plus a derecho and haboob.

Outside of work, I play golf, love to cook and/or grill, and go to farmers markets. I can be found walking or chasing after my Aussie Mix, Valkyrie, at parks or in the backyard. I love sports, but the teams I follow continue to find new and inventive ways to disappoint.
