Matt Digby

Hello! I am excited to join the team at Dayton 24/7 Now, covering sports in the area!

I am an Ohio native, having grown up in Columbus; I was the high school mascot my senior year! I graduated from Ohio University, where I gained media experience at the campus station, WOUB. While a student at OU, I also interned with our sister stations WSYX/WTTE in Columbus, and helped out with the production of The Football Fever, covering Buckeye football.

After graduation, I worked as a freelance sportscaster, doing play-by-play commentary for various events around the country. Most recently, I was at WOAY-TV in West Virginia, where I had the chance to cover not just the Mountaineers, but also Marshall and Virginia Tech, along with a local PGA Tour stop for several years.

Outside of work, I remain a massive sports fan, and my hobbies include golfing, traveling, and trivia! I can't wait to visit all the great communities around the Miami Valley, and thanks for watching!
