Gwyneth Falloon

I am so excited to join the Dayton 24/7 Now team as a multimedia journalist and can’t wait to get to work sharing your stories.

I grew up in the Houston area but my family lived overseas in Europe when I was younger, and now resides outside of Washington D.C. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to work in local television; in a letter I wrote to myself in eighth grade to be given back upon high school graduation, I said I hoped I was heading to college to study journalism. I graduated from Penn State University in May of 2021 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Media Studies.

While in college, I interned with a local paper, Penn State athletics, and anchored sports for the Centre County Report, our student-run newscast. After graduation, I accepted a full-time, news reporting position with NTV News in Kearney, Nebraska. Over the last year and a half, I have worked on my on-air presence, as well as learned more about the industry. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to produce, news anchor, sports report, and sports anchor.

In my free time, you can find me trying out a new recipe, exploring the Dayton area, or spending time with family and friends. I also love to travel and hope to do more of it this year.
