I am so honored to call the Miami Valley home for more than a decade. I'm an Ohio native so living here is truly a dream come true. Dayton reminds me a lot of my hometown, Youngstown, which is why I think I love this hard-working community so much.
I graduated from The Ohio State University and am a Buckeye football fan.
While an Ohio native, I've worked at several stations in my career as a journalist. I started my career earlier than most. My senior year of college I was already working at a local station in Columbus. I had the privilege of working at WSYX/WTTE. I couldn't have asked for a better place to start my career, and better people to work with. After leaving Columbus, I moved out of state for the first time in my life. I was fortunate enough to get a morning anchor position at a small station in Winchester, Virginia.
I then moved to Dayton and started my career here as a multi-media journalist in 2011. I was later promoted to reporter, then weekend anchor and worked six years as morning anchor.
The Miami Valley has truly become home for myself, my husband and our two boys, Roman and Nolan.
