CLARK COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) -- After being found guilty of vehicular homicide and involuntary manslaughter, Hermanio Joseph has been sentenced to 9 to 13 years in prison.
On Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 10 a.m., Hermanio Joseph stood before a courtroom as the family of Aiden Clark shared tearful of how the crash Joseph caused had changed their lives forever.
Following the mournful testimony, the judge presiding over the case sentenced Joseph.

The crash happened on August 22, 2023, when Joseph veered into a Northwestern Local school bus along State Route 41 in Clark County, causing the bus to drive off the roadway and overturn.
The crash injured more than 20 children and left one, 11-year-old Aiden Clark, dead.
Investigators said Joseph did not have a valid license at the time of the crash.

Joseph was accused of involuntary manslaughter and vehicular homicide following the crash.
On May 1, 2024, Joseph was found guilty on both charges.
Joseph's attorney Terry Hart said he's disappointed, but respects the verdict. He expects to file an appeal.
